Located in Eatonton, Georgia, Son Shine Coons breeds beautiful, quality, socialized Maine Coons. While some of our babies have gone on to other respected breeders, most are forever loved and adored as pets by families all over the country. Our Maine Coons are part of our family and live in our home with us. They are inside cats with the exception of an occasional trip outside for a photo shoot. Our kittens are raised under foot; they are birthed right in our master bathroom! We are hands on and put all of our love in to each four legged family member. We are blessed beyond words to be trusted by other breeders with their offspring. We are unbelievably proud of our Maine Coons and honored to share them with you.

 

We breed for health and quality. We do all we can to produce cats within the breed standard. We offer a large variety of coat colors and patterns.  Although size is not most important, we have worked towards including "larger" lines in our cattery. We have imported several cats to bring in the wild and feral look that you often see in the European lines as well as continuing to improve our American lines. We work towards producing that big, goofy, "dog like" personality of the Maine Coon that you can't help but fall in love with. Once you've been owned by one Maine Coon,

you will always have AT LEAST one!

 

Our cattery is regsitered with The Cat Fanciers' Assocation, Inc. (CFA)  The International Cat Association (TICA), American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA), and American Cat Association (ACA). All of our cats have been genetically tested HCM, SMA, PKD, and PKDef N/N. We also feed a balanced, homemade, raw diet to all of our cats, as well as our dogs, here at Son Shine.
